1)Issues in reservations and name correction

You have alternatives for correcting errors in your reservation, such as a spelling error in your name. Let's examine the frequent problems that arise and the recommended course of action.

Fortunately, most flights allow you to amend or cancel them without penalty the same day that you book them, making changes easier.

How to change the name on an airline ticket
However, if you need to alter the name on your ticket, submit us a completed name correction form together with any necessary evidence as soon as you can. Most airlines won't let you change the name on a flight ticket to a different individual. Once you begin completing the form, you will see the required papers to be sent.
​
Within 48 hours of receiving your information, we'll consult with the airline and get back to you with an update and any necessary next steps.

Low-cost carriers like Frontier and Spirit prefer to take care of any necessary corrections on their own. However, we can assist you in contacting them.

Detailed information regarding the name on your flight ticket
You can only travel if the names on your reservation and your government-issued photo ID match.
The majority of airlines allow you to amend your name if it has legally changed or correct minor spelling issues on a ticket. You cannot, however, transfer your ticket to another person.
Airlines may charge you a change fee in addition to the difference in ticket if they determine that changing or updating your name constitutes a flight change.
You should be aware that each airline may have its own change regulations if you have reservations with various flights.

Full-service aviation
If you reserved:

Some airlines allow you to cancel your flight for free within the previous 24 hours. In order to avoid change fees, you can cancel your original flight and book a new one that works better for you.
Earlier than 24 hours: To make adjustments on your own, go to Trips and log in. Alternatively, you may chat with a virtual agent by clicking the blue Chat now icon at the top of this page.
Light or Basic Economy Fares: You are not allowed to make modifications by the airline. Unsure about whether you purchased one of these fares? For information about your flight, consult your itinerary or confirmation email.

How to modify a flight
If the flight you're changing to is more expensive than your initial flight, you'll be responsible for the difference in cost when you make the change. Additionally, some airlines charge a per-person change fee for a change in flight.

Find new flights, then reserve the most convenient one. Additionally, if applicable, you'll see an estimate of the cost of your flight adjustment.

Flights that are two one-way tickets roundtrip
When you have two one-way tickets rather than one roundtrip ticket, changing your flight is a different matter. Visit Roundtrip flights with 2 one-way prices for more information on this.
You must get in touch with the airline directly if one of your flights is on a budget carrier, such as Frontier or Spirit. (They enjoy handling that aspect themselves.) You can work with us to modify your other flight.
Changes to same day flights
Within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time of your flight, you may modify it, but you will be responsible for any associated fees as well as any pricing difference. However, the airlines listed here can give you a lesser change cost if you go through them.

Are you wondering why we are unable to waive your change cost as well? Unfortunately, we have no choice. The airlines mandate that we apply the change fee as it is described in the ticket's fine print.

Ticket exchanges
We recognize that circumstances arise in which it becomes impossible to go. Unfortunately, you cannot transfer your ticket to another person with an airline. We are powerless to change that.
Good to know
You must continue flying with the airline you originally reserved with if you change your flight.
Wish to switch cabins? How about switching from First Class to Economy, or vice versa? The best course of action is to speak with your airline to learn what they permit and to make your modification. Remember that you'll be responsible for paying both the upgraded fare and any additional fees.
You will be responsible for paying any additional fees, including any fare difference, if you want to upgrade cabins.

4) In case you missed the flight

We are aware of how annoying it can be to miss a flight. Here is all the information the airline requires you to know to reduce your anxiety.
Find out what alternative choices your airline can provide or if they can put you on standby for the next flight that becomes available by contacting them.
Your return flight will be immediately canceled by the airline unless you booked a roundtrip ticket using two one-way fares.
The airline has the final say on whether to refund for missing flights.
